Curriculum

CURRICULUM

The curriculum consists of traditional instruction in Bible study, reading, mathematics, language arts, the sciences, social studies, art, music, and physical education. This curriculum is supplemented by a variety of activities and learning experiences that promote Christian values through worship, service, and leadership experiences. Examples of supplemental programs include:

1.  Choir

2.  Weeks of Prayer

3.  Student involvement in Sabbath School and Church services

4.  Weekly chapel programs

5.  Recreational activities

6.  Field trips

7.  Music Festival and Acrofest (grades 5 or 6-8)

8.  Art programs

9.  Social Studies, Science, Art, and Literacy Events

10.  Outdoor school (grades 5-6 in the spring and 7-8 in the fall)

11.  Foreign Language (currently Spanish)

12.  Conservation Officer (Ranger Rick) Assembly 5 times per year
